Self-Portrait / Handwriting Progress Pack

Self-portrait display pack, including hand grip/preference progress chart and coloured frames to use for the children`s drawings and writing.

Throughout the year, the children will regularly draw a picture of themselves and have a go at writing or making a representation of their name.

We will use these self-portraits as a lovely way to observe and celebrate their development, while also noticing changes in their pencil grip, hand preference, mark making and early writing skills.

Each new picture is attached at the top of the previous one, creating a little visual timeline of their progress. As the year goes on, the children can look back and see just how much their drawings and writing have developed.
