The Snowflake Fitness Activity using the Snowflake (cut out) Task Cards make an ideal Christmas/Winter PE activity that is both fun and healthy! This package includes a complete Activity Plan and 32 different Snowflake Exercise Task Cards. The Activity Plan is complete with the activity set-up, equipment needed, teacher directions, SHAPE standards and a graphic depicting the activity.
The Snowflake Exercise Task Cards are in 10 different Snowflake colors and include strength, flexibility and endurance movements with a brief description of the exercise, repetitions or time required (bottom left corner) and a colorful, corresponding student exercise image on each Snowflake.
The Snowflake Fitness Activity (with cut out Snowflake task cards) is ideal for a physical education or classroom teacher to use during the weeks leading up to Christmas or during the cold winter months. The Snowflake Exercise Cards are a “breeze” to use and can also be easily incorporated into many of your current fitness-based warm-ups and activities. The activity and exercise cards provided in this packet were created to be “FUN” and your students will ask you to bring them out every year during this special time of the year!
