A quick, ready to go, little instruction required math activity.

This resource is a fun hands-on Thanksgiving activity that uses the binary number system to create mini Thanksgiving images.

The images are; Mayflower ship, Pilgrim hat, nut, pumpkin, apple, roast turkey, piece of pie, maple leaf.

Students will devour these and be wanting more! By then they will have a beginning understanding of the binary number system.

Binary numbers are an essential part of understanding how computing works. Understanding binary numbers is not only learning within the digital curriculum and helping students become 21st Century learners, but they are also a core element of maths knowledge and learning about different counting systems.

This resource includes;
Two activity sheet sets of 4 puzzles
Answer sheets
