SWOT analysis for Business studies
SWOT stands for Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats. It is one of the fundamental frameworks used to analyse firms in business studies. Whilst it is developed for firms, it can also be used to analyse a specific department/division within a company and could even be used to critically evaluate yourself i.e. what are my strengths and weaknesses and where do I want to be in say 5 years and what opportunities could I make use of to get there? etc.
Attached are 2 powerpoint slides; the first is a blank with 4 boxes equally split and the second slide explains each one in more detail and acts as a prompt to get you started with a lesson.
