6.2F Llevas una vida sana

6.2F Llevas una vida sana

This is a lesson I created to support module 6.2F llevas una vida sana in AQA Spanish foundation book by Oxford Press. No need to have access to Kerboodle for the lesson. This is a lesson I used with my year 11 Spanish class. It contains a picture card starter, an activity where pupils are required to find vocab around the room, a reading task, a grammar exercise on using negative words and a writing or speaking task (based on what you want to practise) with scaffolding. There is also a worksheet for the vocab activity at the start of the lesson. Feedback welcome.

GCSE Spanish role play speaking practice - Drugs, tobacco and alcohol

GCSE Spanish role play speaking practice - Drugs, tobacco and alcohol

I created these specimen cards and a mark scheme for pupils to peer-assess each other while getting used to the role play format. They are based on the AQA exam. They are very much simplified, so if your pupils are working at a higher level or are more used to the format, I would recommend removing any English from the specimen card and making the questions more appropriately open-ended than mine are. Please do let me know about any mistakes - Spanish is not my specialism!

Spanish FOOD quiz - interactive, mix of Speaking/ Writing. Very engaging!

Spanish FOOD quiz - interactive, mix of Speaking/ Writing. Very engaging!

Have adapted this several times to re-inforce vocabulary for different topics, students always get very into it. There are easy to follow instructions inside the PPT - essentially it works in rounds and different points are awarded for correct/ incorrect answers. Winning challenge rounds (that have their own attractive slides) mean more points for the pair who win. A really good collaborative game.
