Viva GCSE - Module 6 - A comer - Lesson 2

This lesson continues with the Unit vocabulary and phrases from Lesson 1 and allows students to complete a listening activity and select from differentiated reading activities. Students will then explore the conjugation of Irregular Preterite tense verbs and complete some basic translations based on their resources. Finally, using all of their resources, students will write a paragraph restaurant experiences and they will improve their paragraphs through peer/self assessment.

Viva GCSE - Module 6 - A comer - Lesson 1

This lesson exploits reading skills to explore useful vocabulary about different restaurants and also allows students to complete a fun, differentiated translation activity. Students then complete dialogues linked to ordering a meal in Spanish. Students will then use all of their resources from the lesson to prepare a GCSE style Photo Card activity to practise essential Speaking Exam skills.

Viva GCSE - Module 6 - Sabores del mundo - Lesson 2

This is a basic lesson with only a listening activity and a writing activity. Students will use their Unit vocabulary list to respond to questions based on a model GCSE Speaking General Conversation with a transcript to explore corrections and vocabulary and tenses. Students will then use all of their resources from Lesson 1 and 2 to respond to differentiated question prompts to create an answer to a GCSE style Speaking question. Students will then self/peer assess their answers in order to further improve their answers.
