Fractions, Maths, SEN, SEND, Fraction Cards, equivalent fractions

Fractions, Maths, SEN, SEND, Fraction Cards, equivalent fractions

Fraction cards to help students learn their fractions. I included a cake picture as my students loved cake, so you would need to cut out both circles and glue them together if you wanted to do this (this was also for SEN to show how fractions apply in the reality). Fractions lie on top of each other. i.e. 1/5 on top of 2 x 1/10 to show equivalent fractions USed with KS3 SEND but could be used with all year groups.

Times Tables Tests up to 12 x 12 including related division facts

Times Tables Tests up to 12 x 12 including related division facts

This times tables pack includes 3 different tests for each of the times tables from 2 x up to 12 x. For each times table, there are 3 separate tests (Tests A, B, C) comprising 24 multiplication and division questions. Test A and B feature multiplication questions on the left hand side and all related division facts questions on the right hand side, with a separate column for them to check and mark their tests. Ideally, you would give Test A on day 1 and record the child’s score and time taken to complete the test. Then on day 2, you would practise the multiplication and division facts through chanting / games / songs / bingo etc and on day 3, the children would take Test B and try to beat their previous score and time. On Day 4, you could practise again, then on Day 5, the children would take Test C, which has all the multiplication and division facts in a randomised order. This way, a different times table could be learned each week and revisited as often as necessary. Another useful way of preparing children for the KS2 Sats and upcoming Year 4 tests!
