Winter Wonderland Themes Charts and Graphs lesson. Build and assesses learners knowledge and understanding of spreadsheet charts and graphs. Which are most appropriate in various scenarios and how to customise various graphs for an audience. Activity includes and introduction with learning intentions, 5 tasks and a further extension.

Christmas Themes spreadsheet activity to consolidate and assess learners understanding and knowledge across a range of spreadsheet skills. Tasks include using formula to discover the number of items in the 12 days of Christmas (Nice idea to play the song at this point), Charting people's favourite Christmas gift and using What If scenarios with Elf payroll.

A excel spreadsheet containing all new professional standards in Wales which are in effect for NQT's from September 2017 and for practitioners from September 2018. Statements for each standards are given for both those completing an induction period (NQT's) and those working towards high;y-effective sustained practice (practitioners).

A Winter Wonderland themed spreadsheet activity. Learners will be able to consolidate basic knowledge of spreadsheet formatting and simple formula to complete a series of what if scenarios. Suitable for KS3 and KS4 - depending on previous experience with spreadsheet modelling. Tasks are differentiated and progressive, leading to level 6 and an extension which investigates What If analysis fuctionality. Instructions are provided on each task and learners should be able to work independently. Plenary Skill Check can be use over a series of lessons to track learner progress.

Learner investigation lesson on area of similar shapes leading to volume of similar shapes. Task booklet provides skill checks at the beginning and end of the lesson. Lesson introduces linear scale factor and then moves to investigate the connection between linear scale factor and area scale factor. This lesson used Plickers cards for quick fire questioning however this could be done using whiteboards or response cards. Welsh is used throughout the PPT and Task booklet. All instructions and explanation is given in English. Task booklets can be collected in to assess learners understanding.

Suitable for KS3 and KS4 (Possible to split into two lessons, one for hypotenuse and one for shorter sides). Allows Students to discover the Pythagoras' Theorem by investigating the length of the sides of triangle on the discovery sheet. This is reinforced in the Question Booklet and then applied to a Contextualised question and GCSE style questions toward the end of the lesson.
