One page A4 key words taken from the national curriculum a balance of Tier 1-3 Keywords for pupils. Definitions extracted from a Science Dictionary/AQA or English Dictionary. I use at the start of a topic and allow pupils to either complete all for homework or complete 5 a lesson. Works well to encourage good vocabulary in lessons.
