This pack contains: 6x Homework listening sheets (PDF) 6x Answer sheets (PDF) This homework pack is suitable for Year 9 or GCSE students (14 -16 years). Each homework sheet focuses on a different romantic composer. Pupils are required to listen to a piece of music on YouTube or Spotify and answer questions relating to the given music. Pupils can access the music clip either by scanning the QR code on the homework sheet or following the link given. Each homework sheet is marked out of 15 in total. There is a ‘Stretch and challenge” question at the end of each homework sheet worth 5 marks. This question requires more detailed use of musical key terms. Composers included in this pack: Felix Mendelssohn Hector Berlioz Johannes Brahms Gustav Mahler Clara Schumann The final sheet is a Romantic Overview (includes listening question on Tchaikovsky).
