They will learn about the structure and function of the heart in detail through engaging PowerPoint slides, video clip and an online resource. They will be quizzed on the information they have learnt. There is also an optional link to an activity on dissecting a sheep’s heart before they label a heart and use arrows to show the direction of blood flow. Finally, they will be tasked to create their own script for an animation voice over similar to the YouTube clip watched which they can then use different platforms to record and edit their video.
