I have taught for 31 years, throughout the primary age range. I started in Year 1, moved to Year 3, then to a shared Year 5/6 class. After having my own children, I took a brief foray into Year 7, then into Able Pupils before changing schools and teaching Year Reception for 8 years. I am now in a shared Year 3/4 class, and love it. I particularly enjoy teaching history, art, DT and English and like to introduce a creative element to my plans if at all possible! I like to be well prepared, and that includes thorough planning and differentiation with lists of resources needed, and extension activities if needed. Learning objectives are always stated in the plans.
