These are a selection of practical investigations for KS3 Science, suitable for use with the Working Scientifically section of the 2014 syllabus. Included are guidance for each investigation, a scaffolded investigation sheet, a mark scheme and a student challenge sheet. The investigations are designed to be easily marked and leveled using criteria adapted from APP guidelines. I intended to add to these over time.

This task allows students to examine and evaluate pieces of opposing evidence, for and against Man landing on the Moon. It can be used as part of a space topic, or as a standalone lesson. It was created as an interview lesson. It will require reading the Wikipedia page on Moon landing conspiracies first (link provided in lesson plan) as this lesson generates lots of questions from students.
