I am a PE teacher who has taught the subject for 14 years. I teach A Level to the OCR specification. I have worked for Ofqual to accredit the new specifications, so know the new A Level PE course inside out. I also teach G.C.S.E PE to the Edexcel spec. I am a practical moderator at GCSE level and an exam marker at A Level. I also teach BTEC level 3 Unit 1 and I have worked again for Ofqual to look at this vocational course and to compare it with others, namely the OCR technicals.

This is a bundle of resources to help students answer the 20 mark synoptic extended questions in each of the 3 papers. It is an A01-AO3 pieces, explaining the key words and a triangle and rectangle box for students to add in their responses in the correct place (I use this at GCSE too). A Blooms Taxonomy sheet to explain the AO1 to AO3 key words. A D question help card that has a section by section approach in how to tackle a question. A D questioning planning sheet with the markscheme. A diamond 9 activity sheet and 3 good 18/20, 17/20 D answers on History, Exercise Physiology and Sport Psychology with the AO2 and AO3 elements in italics and bold so its clear to see for the students.

GCSE PE (Edexcel) Component 1 questions & answers topic by topic (2016 spec)

(1)
These are 2 word documents, with each about 70-80 pages long. One document is the past paper questions in syllabus order for Component 1: 1.1. skeletal/muscular, 1.2 CV/Resp, 1/3 aerobic/anaerobic, 1.4 long/short term effects, 2.1 levers, 2.2 planes & axis and then topic 3 (training). The questions are the 2016 specification recent ones from the SAM’s, specimen papers, 2018, 2019, 2020 **AND THE 2021 ** paper. THEY ARE IN TOPIC ORDER. So the students can easily see what kind of questions come up and how they are worded and what the marks are worth, plus know what topics they are bad at. The other document has the answers too (taken from the markschemes. I am using this as practice hwk questions for my group. Its also useful to show them what the markschemes want, e.g. the terminology, and what marks are awarded for no practical examples!! The markschemes are useful for peer assessment too.
