Make learning your times tables a bit more fun with Ultimate Times Tables Bingo. -Includes 32 unique bingo cards - in black and white AND colour. -Has the answers to tables up to 12 x 12. -Each number (product) also shows the number of ways that it can be made with a smaller number next to it in brackets. This could be used to support work on probability. -Children can choose their own number not already on their bingo card. The best option would be to choose either 12 or 24 (which ever of the two is not already on it) because both of these numbers have six ways of making them. -These bingo cards are fair since every card has exactly the same chance of winning - until they choose their own number. This is because there are exactly 25 different ways of making the 11 numbers already on each bingo card. It might be over 50 years old, but this film truly has something for everyone. It is also very useful to look at what people are really thinking which can feed into their writing. This resource includes 32 activities / points for discussion (including 6 writing activities) for the first 1 hour and 45 minutes of the film. I would not suggest that you use all of them, but choose the ones you like the most. I would also suggest that after the Intermission the children should just watch the last hour or so of the film uninterrupted. I have not included any activities for the last part of the film. The times of relevant scenes are included throughout this resource so you can locate them easily. You could easily use this as a basis of your literacy for a week - perhaps more.
