This complex reading comprehension incorporates the recommended GCSE vocabulary whilst also challenging the students with various reading comprehension questions (in both English and in French) and a writing task at the end of the resource.

A 2-page Spanish reading comprehension based on discussing family members and ages. This is then followed by an outline of how to state ages (present tense conjugation of TENER and numbers in written form), along with various translations and writing activities. Towards the end of the document, students will also be able to develop their writing skills by describing their family.

A 2-page document which should be used for higher-tier GCSE Spanish revision. This document incorporates two writing answers (based on past-paper questions on the topic of ‘school’) which should be analysed within class. There is also an opportunity for students to answer another past-paper question which has been adapted from the AQA/Edexcel exams.
A 2-page French document which focuses on speaking about the topic ‘healthy living’. This document starts with a small gap-fill, and then moves on to the grammar point AVOIR L’HABITUDE DE (+inf). After being given the opportunity to practice their writing skills, students are expected to develop their speaking capabilities on the last page with a eight questions about ‘healthy living’.
