This is focused on the revolt of the North and the pending Viking invasion during William’s reign. The question is stated and then broken down piece by piece for students. Can be used pre or post assessment.

Heads Up Game based on the Anglo-Saxon revision. Resources include a variation of cards that can be printed and laminated to allow for students to play Heads Up and revise.

The Questions are specific to the assessment my students sat but could easily be adapted. Students are given 2 model answers, one good one and one bad one. They are intended to be annotated and then the red box allows them to rewrite their own answer based off the good model answer.

Feedback sheet created on the Norman Conquest of England. Question focuses on the most important reason William won was his tactical skills within battle. The feedback sheet has a poor model answer and a good model answer. The answers have large spaces so that they can be annotated by the students, and then a separate box for students to rewrite their own answers. Created for a mixed ability year 7 class but can be adapted.
