Children can discuss what being different means to them, before exploring some ways in which we can acknowledge and value people’s differences. An independent or group task is also provided to reinforce the learning from the lesson.
The lesson is aimed at Year 6 but could also be used across upper Key Stage 2. It is fully resourced with planning and relevant supporting materials.
The timing of the lesson is approximately 45 – 60 minutes, but, depending on your PSHE timetabling, it can also be easily split into a pair of thirty-minute sessions.
