This pack includes 61 freshly designed files of powerpoints, worksheets and homeworks (including mark schemes) for every lesson in unit 4 Chemical changes for AQA Combined Science Trilogy Chemistry. Updated April 2018. It’s finally here, and I’m very proud of this resource pack! I’ve held off on publishing until the quality was right, and now it’s finally ready to go live. The quality of the formatting/animation is second to none on TES. TES SAYS IT’S 14 FILES, IT’S NOT IT’S 61, MANY ARE IN A ZIP FOLDER! I have now fixed the ZIP Folder issue, should download perfectly! Lesson order is as follows: 4.4.1.1 - Metal oxides 4.4.1.2 - The reactivity series 4.4.1.2 - Displacement reactions 4.4.1.3 - Extraction of metals and reduction 4.4.2.1 - Reactions of acids with metals 4.4.2.2 & 4.4.2.3 - Acids + Insoluble bases 4.4.2.4 - Neutralisation and the pH scale 4.4.2.6 - Strong vs. weak acids 4.4.3.1 - The process of electrolysis 4.4.3.2 - Molten electrolysis 4.4.3.3 - Using electrolysis to extract metals 4.4.3.4 - Electrolysis of aqueous solutions. That’s 12 lessons in total, all jam packed with novel animations, tasks, worksheets, green pen work throughs, and homeworks. Please do review this if you choose to purchase as it really helps my sales. Thanks for supporting my work. Lewis HOW THIS RESOURCE IS ORGANISED: All powerpoints are uploaded directly so browsers can see snippets of each one. Then inside your download there is a zip folder, which contains all powerpoints, checklists, worksheets, homeworks and mark schemes neatly organised in folders. Structure, Bonding & The Properties of Matter - AQA Chemistry

(14)
**Updated April 2021** various fixes as requested **Updated April 2018** Now includes assessments for both combined science and triple. **Updated July 2016** Now includes foundation friendly lesson on covalent bonding and giant covalent structures, and identify the errors covalent bonding worksheet, where you can draw bad dot-cross diagrams and get the students to fix them. In this pack, you will find lesson powerpoints, worksheet and homeworks for the new AQA Combined Science Trilogy: Chemistry specification - Unit 2: Structure, bonding and the properties of matter. Like my other resources, this will be updated regularly as lessons are developed and improved upon over time. Please note: I have decided to remove "polymers" from this unit, as it lends itself better to unit 7 - organic chemistry. I have also integrated states 'states of matter' and 'state symbols' into the lessons as they don't really deserve their own lessons by year 9/10. I have also included a level differentiated progression of learning map (levels 9-1) for the key skills I try to embed in my classes for students of different working levels. This is very useful for planning assessments too! I hope you enjoy, and find these resources useful, as always I look forward to hearing your feedback. You will find the following lessons in this pack: 5.2.1.1 - Chemical Bonds 5.2.1.2 - Ionic Bonding 5.2.1.3 & 5.2.2.3 - Ionic bonding, structure and properties. 5.2.1.4 - Covalent Bonding 5.2.1.4 & 5.2.2.4 - The properties of simple covalent molecules. 5.2.1.4 & 5.2.2.6 - Giant covalent structures. 5.2.1.5 & 5.2.2.7 & 5.2.2.8 - Metallic bonding Integrated content (states of matter and state symbols) Removed content (polymers).

Atomic Structure & The Periodic Table - AQA Chemistry

April 2018 - Newly updated with a knowledge organisers. April 2018 - Newly updated with new images and formatting. In this purchase you will find powerpoints for every lesson in the first unit of the New AQA Combined Science Trilogy - Chemistry - Atomic Structure & The Periodic Table. There are also many worksheets, help resources and homeworks. Unlike other content on TES, this resource pack has been freshly designed this year, with the new specification in hand. As the level of challenge ramps up very quickly, I’ve thought carefully about how to introduce concepts progressively, such as electron configuration --> ions --> reactivity. If you’ve seen my other content, you’ll know that my powerpoint formatting is very modern and clean, and the worksheets are of a high quality to aid with understanding and recall. I have also included a mid term assessment for higher and foundation tier on the basics. The lessons included are as follows: 5.1.1.1 (1) - Atoms & Elements 5.1.1.1 (2) - Compounds, Formulae & Equations 5.1.1.2 (1) - Mixtures (Filtration & Crystallisation) 5.1.1.2 (2) - Mixtures (Chromatography) 5.1.1.2 (3) - Mixtures (Distillation) 5.1.1.3 - History of the Atom 5.1.1.4 - Atomic Structure 5.1.1.5 - The Size & Mass of Atoms 5.1.1.6/5.1.2.1 - Electronic Structure & The Periodic Table 5.1.2.2 - Development of the Periodic Table 5.1.2.3 - Metals & Non-Metals 5.1.2.4 - Group 0 (The Noble Gases) 5.1.2.5 - Group 1 (The Alkali Metals) 5.1.2.6 - Group 7 (The Halogens) Feedback is greatly appreciated, thank you all for your continued support, Lewis
