Created as a revision lesson for Y12 and Y13 psychology students studying the AQA psychology specification. It goes through the importance of statistical testing, type 1 and type 2 errors, levels of measurement, before going through the sign test and chi -square. The sign test is delivered using a chocolate experiment but this can be tweaked and your own results entered. Use the powerpoint along with a booklet to allow students to make notes and answer exam style questions. It comes with a lesson plan as it was for an observation. I split the spec into the different units and made a checklist for students use. They can either tick as they move through the course or use it at the end of AS to help inform their revision or if they have missed lessons. Also useful to help inform teacher planning.
