EYFS Reception Weekly Timetable

(0)
My weekly timetable for an EYFS Reception class. This maps out the week and shows when inputs will be taught covering each area of learning. We have 2 Literacy sessions a week, 2 Maths sessions, 1 PE, 1 RE, 1 PSHE/RSHE/PSED, 1 UTW and 1 EAD session. We also have daily phonics. On days where maths is not taught as a carpet session, we use Numberblocks so children still have some maths input each day.

EYFS Parents Evening Report Template

(0)
A report template for EYFS that can be used to share with parents at Parents Evening. This template will help you to set clear targets for each area of learning to support your children with making the right steps towards becoming secure in the ELGs. It supports discussions at parents evening, providing a clear focus and means that parents can take something away with them. Feedback about this template from parents has been very positive and parents like that they have clear targets to work on at home and know how these targets will be worked on in school too. It is set out as a mini report and can easily be adapted for different abilities and more personalised targets.

EYFS presentation to Subject Leaders

(0)
A presentation to explain to subject leaders what the EYFS is about. The presentation explains the framework and how curriculums are formed from this. It highlights why play is so important and how we teach children through play and exploration. It also explains how we gather evidence and how this differs from other year groups. The presentation can be adapted to suit your setting.
