Music has the power to change how a viewer perceives a movie, therefore students can have some fun with the short film ‘Piper’ (which can be found on Disney+). Teaching students about the government and how laws are passed can be confusing for students. So why don’t you bring the government to the classroom! The class will nominate a president and a Seanad and Dáil will be formed. They must learn about the 5 stages of passing a bill, then act it out using this activity sheet. The president of the class will sign off on the bills and add these laws to their very own constitution/Bunreacht na hEireann.
