Topics covered are area and properties of 2-D shapes, Triangular Numbers, Area and Circumference of a Circle and simplifying and dividing ratios. The sheets are set out in the style of a textbook, but in a much more concise manner, not only reminding pupils of the key points of the topic, but also providing an explanation of the maths behind them. There are strong cross-curricular links with literacy, with pupils encouraged to learn mathematical terminology.

A Powerpoint for KS3 and GCSE Foundation Students which helps them to recognise and draw nets of 3-D shapes (including Cubes, Cuboids and Triangular Based Prisms). There is sufficient material in the Powerpoint to cover a whole lesson. This could be used as the lesson before teaching students how to work out the surface area of 3-D shapes. In this resource, the pupils are taught how to recognise 3-D shapes before being scaffolded through how to draw them with worked examples of how to draw cuboids and cubes. There are questions for students to complete. The Powerpoint is quite interactive and there is also a strong cross-curricular link with Literacy.
