This worksheet will help your students to consolidate their knowledge about Areas of triangles and parallelograms. It includes: A brief revision on the formulas. 6 exercises with several parts on: - Finding the area of a square given its side. - Finding the side of a square given its area. - Finding the area of a parallelogram given its base and perpendicular height. - Finding the missing measurement of a parallelogram given its area and another measurement. - Finding the area of a triangle given its base ans perpendicular height. - Finding the missing measurement of a triangle given its area and another measurement. Four, ten-minute simple word games , English language, for Years 4,5 and 6

Four English language word games for Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 , as lesson fillers, or end of term specials. Can be done individually or in several teams of 4 or 5 students. Teams can be given names to add even more interest. Each game will take up to around 10 - 15 minutes. Prizes may be given or the winners are simply congratulated, having earned most points. Well tested and well loved.
