Pokemon style card game to get you students hooked on Algebra Substitution. Starting simple, this game builds students substitution skills though a game that is quick and engaging. Print, slice and play Create decks for 2 - 5 students teams. Customise to your hearts content or just allow students to explore the gameplay through the instruction cards provided. Re-use this year after year. 24 unique animal and bug cards. 6 creative and make your own cards Have student become-the-teacher. Coming up with their own playing cards. Set some Algebraic expression rules then student create and design their own animals or bugs. 9 green bonus event cards to add game play fun, drama and excitement to the game play. Similar to my other games. **9 number cards **provide a variety of positive integers to the substitution numbers for each game. These can be swapped out easily with more complex numbers like negatives and powers. 1 story card sets the scene and purpose for the adventure. The Story You and your friends find an ancient collection of legends and myths, one of which catches your attention. It was a tale about a magical world inhabited by all sorts of wondrous creatures, from talking animals to majestic bugs. The legend claimed that if one collected a certain number of these creatures, they would be granted a WISH! Hi, This game can be super engaging and I love watching students ‘intently discuss the correct answers and how it should be worked out’. This is the kind of learning ownership we look forward to as teachers. Please comment and feedback a ton below. I helps the games and ideas evolve. Boggers :)

Decrypto Racer - Prime Factors and Prime Numbers Maths Game

Decrypto is a** high speed composite number game** where students race to break down numbers into prime factors. Running for 20 - 40 minutes one of my students called it Exciting and Stressful!. If you are looking to inject some excitement and teamwork into your lesson give this a go. Highly recommend the pre-worksheet Sieve of Eratosthenes a Greek Math’s classic before Decrypto Racer. This is an engaging way for students to find Prime Numbers using multiples. The version I made goes up to 100 and takes about 10 -20 minutes depending on your class. It is included in this download. Enjoy and please please send me your feedback, love it or hate I want to know! Boggers

This is the fun and engaging way to teach Simple Ratios, Scales and Scale Factors with this pre-game-worksheet and the **super-duper-engaging game - Scale Stacker! ** Scale Stacker is designed to be student-paced (instructions on the cards) with minimal-teacher-input during the lesson. Idea for grades 7 - 9. All you will need to do is print out the worksheets and answers. Then** build the decks of cards** for the number of games you need. This can take a little time. But you have the resource to use again and again. Worksheet in class takes students about 15 - 30 min. Scale Stacker Game in class takes students about 30 - 45 min.
