What is the MA in Education with Pedagogy?

Our MA in Education with Pedagogy is a top-up qualification that will enable your teachers to transfer credits from a PGCE or iPGCE and build on these to gain a full Master’s degree focusing on teaching and learning.

Enhance pupil experience

Provided in partnership with University of East London (UEL), our MA in Education with Pedagogy will enable your staff to develop their teaching expertise at an advanced academic level.

Train staff online, with pathway tutor support

  • Our MA is delivered through an award-winning online platform called Learn through a programme of self-study sessions, guided reading, online lectures and seminars

  • Staff will be supported by a personal pathway tutor throughout their programme

  • The fee for the course is £4,000 plus VAT (where applicable)

  • If your staff have a Tes iPGCE or PGCE award, the fee is £3,600 plus VAT (where applicable)

To join our programme your staff must:

  • Be working in a teaching role in a school so that they can undertake the research required

  • Have notified your school of their intention to take the MA

  • Hold 60 credits at Level 7 in education (usually an iPGCE or PGCE): these may be subject to an ENIC check after application

  • If English is not their first language and they do not hold an English qualification, they may be asked to provide an IELTS score of 6.5

  • Have access to a personal computer and an internet connection
