Grace Academy Solihull is a mixed, non-selective, secondary school with sixth form situated in Birmingham, West Midlands, serving students from the age of 11-19. The secondary school has a strong Christian ethos, with approximately 775 students on record. The Trust has two other academies in Coventry and Darlaston.
Grace Academy Solihull is sponsored by Grace Foundation, established by Lord Edmiston – the Chairman of the International Motors Group.
Values and vision
Grace Academy Solihull practices five core values: grace, respect, integrity, potential and excellence. The secondary school wants to nurture caring citizens who are given the confidence and self-belief to work to the best of their capabilities and achieve to the highest of their standards. Grace Academy Solihull wants students to feel valued and offers pastoral care through The Ethos Team, who work together to help students develop their sense of identity and explore their faith. The school encourages pupils to get involved with enrichment activities to gain new skills and further their enjoyment for school life, which range from film club to gymnastics. Grace Academy Solihull holds a specialism in Business and Enterprise and students are encouraged to learn the required skills needed to excel in the workforce after leaving the school. The academy has 16 local partner companies who offer students workshops and industry advice.
