Humanitree is an international school in Mexico City founded in 2011. The campus is located in the western neighbourhood of Lomas de Chapultepec. The school teaches a child-centred curriculum incorporating the standards of the English and Welsh national curriculum, US Common Core and the International Baccalaureate. We are a bi-lingual school, teaching classes approximately 80% in English and 20% in Spanish. In middle school, Chinese and French are offered as optional third languages. Our Pre-School and Elementary school has a project-based approach to learning with a strong focus on literacy and numeracy. In the middle and high school, this project approach is continued through dedicated curriculum time coupled with more traditional subjects.
We are a growing school and in 2022 our first generation of High School students will graduate. We are also an IB Diploma school which gained authorization to start teaching the IB Diploma in 2020.
The integration of technology is at the heart of our pedagogical practice with a one to one student iPad programme from Grade 1 through to High School. At Humanitree class sizes are an average of 16 students, ensuring a close personal connection between learners and staff. It is part of our philosophy that a student’s school experience is individualized, ensuring that their talents and skills are allowed to flourish.

Gratitude and Generosity
I like my school because it has lots of fun technology and your own opinions are not judged. The Teachers are fun and you learn in a fun way but you still learn. You have a lot of freedom and if you have an opinion people will always hear.- Humanitree Student
