Middleton Technology School

Middleton Technology School is an 11-16 school, and is one of 4 secondary schools serving the town of Middleton within the Borough of Rochdale to the north of the Manchester boundary. The school is part of Great Academies Education Trust which is a small multi academy trust.

We value our staff highly and are committed to teamwork and have a unity of purpose and a determination to make Middleton Technology School a school where every child achieves highly through excellent teaching and learning.

Our mission is “In Pursuit of Excellence”. This mission threads through everything we do. We are determined that our school is a school where every child, regardless of background, achieves highly as a result of excellent teaching and guidance. We value our staff highly, all of whom have a unity of purpose and a determination.

We  also run the Pioneers Partnership SCITT (school based initial teacher training) .We are rightly known as an excellent training school for staff and we provide exceptional support for all our staff regardless of experience. We are in every sense a learning community.
