Values and Vision
Reigate College is an outward-looking educator that plays a large part in the local community. The College always aims to work in a spirit of support and cooperation with other educational providers in the area. There is a strong sense of collaboration and support within the staff, who set high expectations of students, but always in a fully supportive and welcoming environment. The College is inclusive and works closely with students to develop independent working skills. Each course is allocated ‘plus’ support sessions, which is included in teaching allocations to provide additional opportunities to enhance student performance.
A wide range of educational opportunities are available to students including a large activities and enrichment programme. The College places a strong emphasis on preparing students for the pathway of their choice including university, employment and apprenticeships.
“Reigate College is an outstanding sixth form college [and] students’ achievement is outstanding. Leaders and governors have engendered a culture of high expectations and all aspects of the college’s work are well managed. Quality assurance arrangements are highly effective in maintaining high standard and identifying the few aspects of the college’s work that need improvement.
