About The International School of the Hague
The International School of The Hague is an IB World School, accredited by the Council of International Schools and the International Primary Curriculum. The International School of The Hague is a member of the Rijnlands Foundation, a prestigious group of schools in The Netherlands and abroad which form a Dutch non-profit making organization, subsidised by the Dutch Ministry of Education and supported by the Municipality of The Hague, as well as by local business interests. The school is subject to Dutch social and working conditions, which are among the best in the world, the national pension scheme applied to the school is extremely beneficial to the international traveller. The school itself is a pleasant working environment, situated in the dunes of Kijkduin, one of The Hague’s quieter beach resorts. The Hague is a cosmopolitan city with a large expat population and as such offers excellent housing, health and transport facilities.
As a successful applicant, you will be welcomed by a collegial, sociable and thoroughly international team. Applicants must be eligible to work within the European Union and suitably qualified. In addition, we can provide free education for up to two dependents for Teachers hired from abroad. Initial employment is for one year, followed by a permanent contract subject to satisfactory appraisal and completion of paperwork.
