Resources:
• 100 page health and safety quiz (moving resource)
• Answer guide
I have had great success when using this quiz 15min at the end of every lesson to re-enforce health and safety knowledge. I have added 100 popular health and safety questions that seem to pop up in the IMI health and safety test (although these are not guaranteed to show up) however, over 8 years on teaching this qualification at an alternative provision and I have only had a handful of learners fail the test and nobody has ever failed the test twice.
I use this recourse:
• As a competitive quiz in groups
• As a competitive quiz individually
• Print off for learners to revise from as a book
• Send this power point to a learner’s email address, digital device so they can test themselves or revise from
I reward marks and offer incentives for learners that give the correct answer. This power point will provide the foundational health and safety knowledge that will help any learner pass this on-line test. I have also provided an answer sheet that a TA, teacher or learner is able to use if they struggle to answer any of the questions.
Please keep in mind, that the health and safety quiz have some questions on tools and equipment so before entering the test also quiz your learners on names and safety checks on tools and equipment.
Thank you for reading.
