Pupils sort notes about the Chinese Lung Dragon into categories for a non-chronological report. They then use these categorised notes to write their own non-chronological report about the Chinese Lung Dragon. This can be incorporated into study of the Chinese New Year. Pupils enjoy reading and sorting the 30 facts about the lung dragon. This engaging activity can be done individually or in pairs. It is made less complex with a simplified list with only 20 facts and a simplified grid with fewer categories. It is made more complex with a grid without headings (pupils must decide their own).
