IBP - Individual Behaviour Plan

(0)
The I.B.P. is an in-depth document for recording and tracking student behaviour. It is a supportive document that collates a range of evidence on the student and identifies a range of strategies and interventions to support improvements. This is an individually designed IBP that has been used alongside other Pastoral Support Programmes and which has been used to help provide evidence in both EHCP Review meetings and PEP’s.

You should be able to teach a lesson with minimal preparation, maybe watching a few videos before hand or printing out some resources. The scheme has diagrams, assessment levels, differentiation , teaching points, Assessment for learning/plenary activities, links to videos that show the skill, clear explanations of the tasks and all resources and links to the resources required via the lesson plan. No timings are included as each school can vary in terms of lesson time. They should provide enough tasks for lessons of 40 minutes and above. I also have a set of pair routines lesson plans with all the resources here

Individual Attendance Audit and Plan

To improve the attendance of identified individuals whose attendance may be generally low or for those whose attendance is falling towards or has reached persistent absenteeism level, utilise an Individual Attendance Audit to investigate the barriers to school attendance. From this, communicate with parents and carers to create an Individual Attendance Plan. These two fully editable word document resources will enable you to explore the potential barriers to pupil attendance and work together with professionals, parents, carers and the pupil to find ways to address these so that attendance can improve. Track academic targets, support, strategies and expectations by using these resources during attendance review meetings. This is great evidence to use when working alongside school attendance officers, school improvement advisors or partners (SIP) and Ofsted inspectors when discussing pupil attendance and actions taken. Our full Ofsted Inspection Preparation pack includes this and so much more. Visit honeyguide-sls.co.uk for further information. Individual Recording and Planning Sheet

This sheet can be used as part of an IEP in science. It is suitable for mainstream and special needs at every level including gifted and talented. It lends itself to differential planning for specific pupils. I use it to inform support assistants and students about what is expected. They can then contribute ideas and comments in the relevant places. This is AFL formalized and can be a powerful tool for individualized teaching and learning. I suggest that you change the file extension from .doc to .dot to convert this into a template. Please provide feedback.

Individual SEND Support Plan

A highly detailed individual SEND support plan to use for your pupils with EHCPs. I would recommend uploading this to google slides and using it as a continually evolving document adding to it with each review and annual review so that it follows the child through school and can have multiple authors. This should save you having to save termly copies of the plan after each review, instead it becomes a true working document you can share with necessary staff within your organisation. It can be quickly downloaded to then add as supplementary evidence to an annual review or to share with families and professionals.
