Introducing my LilyPad Blending Cards, designed to make phonics learning a hopping adventure for children! Each LilyPad features a distinct grapheme, aiding children in recognising and blending sounds as they hop along. For an extra dose of fun and engagement, pair these cards with a small frog figurine, encouraging children to hop along with their newfound phonetic skills. I use this investigation to encourage learners to discover the nth term. I printed out and laminated the large lily pads and got learners up to the front to hop and slide from each lilypad. I also made little frogs that the learners used to try to discover the pattern.

Detailed PE/dance lesson that I did with 3-5year olds, goes through the movement a frog goes through in it’s life cycle. Previously introduced the life cycle of a frog. A introduction to some of the different types of poetry with examples. This was used with a year 7 level 3/4 class.

This is a lesson pack that I used for a job interview. It is 5 way differentiated for pupils WT up to level 4. I hope this is helpful. Comments and feedback are welcomed :)

I did this as an end of year task with my Year 7's. Essentially it is putting on a puppet show of Pyramus and Thisbe, the idea being that the students tell a modern version but using elements of Shakespearean language. Set up for SLAF 3 but easy enough to alter for SLAF 1 and 2.
