We used it in year 6 to promote reading stamina and understanding. The children loved doing these activities in a separate journal; which they decorated themselves. There is a wide range of activities so they won't get bored!

Used this for ages - think I got the original template of it from somewhere else - so total credit to that person! I have added some things and split it into fiction, non fiction and activities applicable for both. My kids have this stuck into their reading journal and they mark off what they have done for homework, or as a follow up activity I have given them from guided reading.
