Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age knowledge organisers

Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age knowledge organisers

(0)
Provide children with basic facts and vocabulary to refer to throughout their learning about Ancient Britain. Seperate files for the Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age on powerpoint presentations that can be printed and stuck in their books or laminated for the tables. Helps with chronological understanding, spellings and develops their vocabulary. Also great for teacher subject knowledge and keeping on track with historical information. I have tried to keep it as relevant to BRITISH dates as possible, but inevitably there were events that happened outside of Britain that influenced what was happening here. Dates are approximate but have been checked using reliable sources such as BBC and DK.
Major Body Organs
MissRoskellMissRoskell

Major Body Organs

(39)
I have kept these very plain and simple for a reason - in my science lessons (especially revision,) I print out and laminate the body organs and get the children to stick the different organs on each other where they think they go. They can write the name of the organ on it with a white board pen. To add a label, put a text box over the different organs and set the background colour as 'no fill' These are also very good for display work or can be shrunk to make into a work sheet. PLEASE leave feedback, ideas and comments. I will gladly add any other parts you may suggest.

Two different difficulties - one partly complete, with space for children to write and draw on correct part of scaled time line. The second version has a scaled time line on a blank sheet that can be printed onto A3. The pictures, dates and information can be printed onto A4 to cut and locate in the right place. A fully editable version is included, so that you can customise it to what you are teaching your class and edit for different children. Please note: Focuses on mesolithic, neolithic, bronze and iron age. The very end of the paleolithic era is shown.
Classroom noise scale

Classroom noise scale

(4)
A coloured A4 sheet to cut out and laminate. Display it in the classroom with an arrow pointing to the appropriate noise level description for a visual representation of how loud it is. Save your voice from constantly shouting over the children! After about week of use, the children only need to see your hand move towards the chart and they quieten down. PLEASE leave comments or suggestions, it is always nice to know what people think of your resources and how they could be improved. Thank you
Story Sandwich
MissRoskellMissRoskell

Story Sandwich

(4)
These are blank parts of a sandwich, perfect for use accross literacy. I have used them in writing instructions (of how to make a sandwich,) but even more so in a story sandwich (beginning, building up to the main complication, and an ending, details etc.) Ideal for both displays, and helping children grasp the concept of what makes a 'good story.' PLEASE leave any feedback or suggestions. I will gladly adapt and improve them based on any comments.
