If you are teaching AQA GCSE Physics then you need the larger bundle: https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/waves-gcse-physics-12747109 As a Secondary Science teacher, Deputy Headteacher, writer and examiner for many years I make high quality no-prep lessons so busy teachers can teach outstanding lessons without spending hours planning. These high quality lessons include explanations, different types of in-lesson assessment (all with answers) and unique exam questions. My lessons are ideal for non-Physicists - as a Biologist who retrained as a Physics teacher I know how to take learners on a journey that builds up their understanding step by step, while still going into a lot of depth. The preview videos show a representative sample of slides from each resource so that you get a good idea of what it includes before you buy. Teaching Order Transverse and Longitudinal Waves Wave Properties (Wavelength, Amplitude, Frequency, Period) Wave Speed Equation and Required Practicals: Ripple Tank & Vibrating String Electromagnetic Spectrum Refraction Absorbing, Emitting and Dangers of Electromagnetic Waves Uses of Electromagnetic Waves Required Practical: Infrared What’s Included in each lesson: • Starter / Do Now Activity • Explanation slides in “chunked” sections with animated diagrams. • Worked examples of calculations / questions.where applicable • Multiple questions in different question styles and difficulties - no need for worksheets. Each “chunked” explanation section typically includes a set of “learning check / quick questions” followed by a set of in-depth questions on the learning from that “chunk” of the lesson. All questions have answers. • Exam-style questions on the whole lesson at the end of the lesson- these are unique, based on real exam questions but not just copied from exam boards. • Answers for all questions • All easily editable to adapt to your teaching or to use in existing lessons. • Slightly humorous, at points, if you like that sort of thing. The lessons were written for AQA GCSE Science / Physics but are very likely to be applicable to other exam specifications. Please leave a rating / review and all other feedback gratefully received!

THE Ultimate British Science Week 2024 Quiz- TIME

(1)
5 rounds with 30+ quiz questions combined! Great for those end of term filler lessons and to have a bit of fun with the pupils! Let’s Celebrate British Science Week 2024! To be honest, this resource has taken many more hours than I would have liked as it has taken a lot of brain power and creativity to come up with interesting rounds! ‘Time’ has been another challenging one! I’ve aimed this for Year 10 but could be used from Year 7-13. Rounds include: • Questions of time? Each question have four answers to choose from. These range from geological time periods to lunar cycles, from comets to tortoises. • Speedy elements. Had a lot of fun putting this round together! Some element names have been recorded and then sped up to x3 their original. • What came first? Two inventions/ discoveries/ objects are shown. Which came first? • Does it measure time? A selection of scientific apparatus is shown. Which are used to measure the passing of time? • Odd one out. A year is given with a number of things that were invented or happened during this year. Which is the odd one out? Currently in PowerPoint. Should transfer to Google Slides with relative ease. I’ve put a PDF of the team sheet for easy printing. This resource includes: • PowerPoint with questions and answers • Audio for speedy elements round • Team answer sheet Any issues or errors please let me know and I’ll rectify ASAP. Images have been selected from searching free images on Google or my own designs.

AQA Triple science check-list

(5)
This is a resource I have put together, using the AQA specifications for Biology, Chemistry and Physics The topics and required practicals relate to the triple science, rather than combined (trilogy) The numbers, regarding the areas of the specification, are also related to the triple specifications, so they would also need changing if you would like to create this to use the combined specification My ideas was that teachers could have this as a bit of a tick list for themselves, whilst the students can use this through their revision If any errors are found - please let me know. This was quite a few hours in the making, so proof reading was quite difficult!
