Simultaneous equations graphically

A very student friendly resource solving simultaneous equations graphically (8 questions). I made this because I was struggling to find any resource that just allow the students to practice the skill without having to get them to draw a graph or having the issue with the equations not crossing. I taught this by setting x = 0 and finding the y value. The equations are nice to work with when set to zero. This resource will save you a lot of time and effort.

SIMULTANEOUS EQUATIONS - GCSE Foundation Level. An interactive PowerPoint offering a step by step guide to Simultaneous equations, using elimination and substitution, but also how to solve them graphically . I’ve explained in an example how to work through a question, followed by a typical question taken from an exam paper. It could be used as an individual lesson, or for GCSE revision.

Simultaneous Equations BUNDLE

3 Resources
This is a great bundle of 3 LESSONS on Simultaneous Equations. The three lessons cover the different methods of solving simultaneous equations and provide an excellent understanding of the topic. It will provide a great basis for further more difficult problems. The three lessons include: Lesson 1 - by elimination or subtraction method Lesson 2 - by substitution Lesson 3 - by drawing graphs (graphical method) All lessons are very extensive, come with questions and answers, terrific teaching slides, very clear pedagogy, keywords, learning objectives and interesting starters. Please NOTE: This lesson is flat-packed for copyright purposes, which means limited editing in places, but slides can be deleted, rearranged and slides can obviously be added. Please provide a RATING with written feedback Email outstandingresourceshelp@gmail.com if there are any issues and we will respond within 48 hours.
