It is designed to help them revise the theme of hope in Animal Farm, as well as the ideas that relate to it - Old Major, the Windmill, Beasts of England and Moses and his tales of Sugarcandy Mountain. Students are then taught how to write and structure the essay. An exemplar answer is included.
