Turn KS3 maths practice into a AFC Bournemouth football code-breaking challenge. Pupils complete six activities with ten questions in each, collect one number clue per activity and assemble a final six-digit player-photo lock.

The six activities cover match-up calculations, correcting mathematical errors, number crosswords, coordinate transformations, original exam-style geometry questions and player-statistics comparisons. Topics include fractions, percentages, ratio, algebra, sequences, HCF, averages, perimeter, area, probability and rates per 90 minutes.

Included: a 12-page student PDF with clearly labelled answer spaces and continuation questions; a six-page teacher PDF with worked answers and the final code; a matching 29-slide PowerPoint with worksheet cutouts, teacher notes and 18 on-click reveals; a teacher setup guide and hint sheet.

Print shared task pages 1–5 per team and pages 6–12 per pupil. Complete questions 1–6, then the matching questions 7–10 before moving to the next activity. The highlighted A, B and C digits show how to make each clue. Teachers check all 60 answers and methods before accepting the final lock.

Suitable for Year 7–9 practice, revision, enrichment and teamwork across several lessons. The activities can be split into shorter sessions. Player figures use a fixed 12 October 2026 statistics snapshot. This is an independent teaching resource, without club endorsement.

The watermarked preview shows actual sample pages. Purchased student sheets and answer files are not watermarked. Project the teacher PowerPoint with its answer notes kept on the teacher display.
