Algebra Ten Review Fortune Tellers

This purchase includes ten different fortune tellers (cootie catchers) each differentiated. The ten algebra topics included are;

  1. Simplifying expressions
  2. Evaluation/substitution
  3. Expansion of term over a bracket
  4. Solving 1&2 step equations
  5. Mix of four above.
  6. Solving Inequalities
  7. Factorising
  8. Expansion of binomials/quadratics
  9. Factorising quadratics a=1
  10. Factorising quadratics a≠1

In each cootie catcher there are eight questions requiring students to use a variety of algebra skills such as solving equations and evaluating expressions through substitution. The corners of the cootie catcher indicate the differentiation which is to four levels (easy, medium and difficult) and the fourth corner is a challenge section.
Blank version is also included as you can ask pupils to create their own questions and answers; ideal as a homework task and that’s next lessons’ starter sorted.

Thank you numberloving. I love your resources, and especially these fortune tellers. They are a great revision tool, and are a different activity for the kids to do. My students really enjoyed it. <br /> <br /> In particular, I like how the questions are colour coded based on difficulty. Great way to differentiate.
