Lovely lesson to introduce students to French! I usually use this at the start of each term with my students. It's nice to watch them discover all bout the culture and the language by themselves.
I encourage them to research all about festivals & food. I generally find it is a lesson that they talk about and use as a frame of reference later on in the year.
