A fun alphabet resource designed for children in EYFS and KS1.
This six-page activity pack gives children opportunities to recognise, explore, order and colour letters in a variety of ways.
The resource includes:
Alphabet in Order – letters from A to Z to support recognition and alphabetical sequencing.
Alphabet in Reverse Order – letters from Z to A, encouraging children to think carefully about letter order.
Jumbled Alphabet – mixed-up letters for children to identify, find and organise.
Consonants – a page featuring consonants only, helping children distinguish consonants from vowels.
Vowels – a focused activity using A, E, I, O and U to develop vowel recognition.
Coloured Alphabet Example – a completed alphabet poster showing the letters coloured in as an example or visual reference.
The activities support letter recognition, letter formation, alphabetical order, sorting skills and fine motor control.
Children can name the letters, colour them, identify vowels and consonants, and practise putting letters into the correct sequence.
They can look out for any missing letters or extras.
Suitable for classroom activities, assessment, literacy centres, intervention work, home learning or independent practice.
