Turn AS Level Coordinate Geometry into a full mathematical investigation with The Midnight Metro: Collision Map!

Two metro routes have been corrupted onto the same coordinate grid and students must reconstruct the network before a collision occurs.

This extended AS Pure Mathematics escape room contains 30 varied Coordinate Geometry challenges across five themed zones. Students work with gradients, equations of straight lines, intersections, midpoints, distances, perpendicular lines, circles, completing the square, tangents, normals, perpendicular bisectors and line-circle intersections.

Rather than simply answering questions in order, students collect evidence tokens as they move through the metro system. The tokens deliberately contain more information than students need, meaning they must revisit earlier results, compare evidence and reject decoys before they can determine the final escape code.
