BAME/Equality and Diversity embedding activity for Horticulture Level 1

An easy to embed BAME/E&D information and activities intended for use when teaching Horticulture Level 1. This informaiton and activity sheet focuses primarily on aspects of BAME within horticulture and garden design. This pack explains and provides understanding of many of the factors which influence persons of BAME or persons from a background of Equality and Diversity significance when studying horticulture and garden design . The pack also provides insight to some of the initiatives and persons who are using garden design and horticulture to create awareness of persons of BAME.
This pack has been created to be presented within a UK prison setting, where BAME, Equality and Diversity, and creativity are key issues in rehabilitation. This can be easily adapted to suit a different audience whilst maintaining the same focus on Horticulture, persons of BAME and Equality and Diversity in a manner which is relevant and personalised to each learner.
