These Body Percussion Performance Flashcards give your students and IMMEDIATE EXPERIENCE in the Music Elements of BEAT, RHYTHM and METER.
They may be performed on their own or as accompaniment to a song.
The 4 main Body Percussion sounds are: STOMP, PAT LEGS, CLAP and SNAP

Body Percussion Images Include:
Pat Legs (sitting position)
Clap (your own hands)
Pat Legs (standing position)
Stomp Foot
Partner Clap (clap hands with a partner)
Rest Image (represents a silent sound block)

Body Percussion images are arranged in Sound Blocks.
Each block represents one beat of the measurement. Some sound blocks contain one image representing 1 sound (quarter note), 1 silent (quarter rest) or 2 images representing 2 quicker sounds (double 8th notes).

3 lines per card.
4 sound blocks per line.
