Note - I have included some questions on the powerpoint but you will need to use edexcel worksheets for this lesson.
Starter: Pupils stick in a small sheet (included on powerpoint) and try to identify mixtures, compouinds and pure substances. This is then referred back too later in the lesson.
Main: All key information about purity, mixtures and melting points of substances including 2 short videos. Some questions for discussion on powerpoints and Main tasks use edexcel worksheets.
Plenary: a true or false quiz on powerpoints with all answers (animated)
