These JOY Banners are a great Christmas / Seasonal craft that your students will love to create! And, they make great gifts!!!
There are 7 banner options to choose from. I have included step-by-step directions and visuals to help you create these banners. I have also provided a template for students to write a Christmas message to a loved one if they are planning to give the Banner as a gift.
All students require are scissors, coloring pencils and glue.
You need to have 1 1/2" ribbon for each student and a hoop to hang the banner. I buy bracelets at the dollar store. They come 4 or more in a pack for $1. And, they are large enough to fit around most door knobs so the students can hang their banner on their bedroom door. You do need to cut squares (4 x 4) ahead of time for students or bring the heavy cardstock to class and have your students cut those squares. All other templates are included in the package, all you have to do is photocopy.
