I have written five climate change stories with accompanying story resources such as play scripts, songs and cross-curricular activities. I hope they help you to teach your children about this difficult subject in a fun way.
The stories are inspired by articles from the National Geographic magazines, ensuring that the information about climate change on which they are based is accurate and current.
The resources are designed to last for half a term.
The fourth story is called “What’s the matter Mr. Bear?” This is a story about the melting ice in the Arctic and the affects this is having on polar bears’ ability to hunt for food.
The story also deals with more general themes such as friendship, fear, being kind, helpful and loving.
These resources are ideal for curious young minds that love a good story and want to learn about *their *changing world.
Hope you enjoy using these resources!
